I admit that I belong to the YMCA, but if you're considering a gym membership, don't do it! Why? Because most of the members I've seen have been sweating and straining for months and years, and they still look the same -- fat!
In the struggle to lose weight, people spend their precious time engaging in exercise that they hope will burn as many calories as possible. Whether it's going to the gym and sweating it out on a treadmill, stationary cycle, or in aerobics classes, one would want that time spent to have a slimming effect, right?
