A nice, hot breakfast that can be made without spending a long time preparing it.
Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a medium-sized, oven-proof sauté pan that has a lid add water, cinnamon and apples. Bring to a boil over high heat; then reduce to medium. Cover and simmer until apples are tender, about 6 to 10 minutes. Uncover pan and turn off heat. With a wooden spoon or spatula, form apple slices into a loose circle topped with Canadian bacon. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and cheeses, which have been mixed together. Transfer pan to oven and cook until cheese melts, about 3 to 5 minutes. Serve hot.
